The second quarter of 2022 saw notable performances from the top 5 real-time strategy apps on iOS in the United States. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Clash Royale from Supercell showed significant fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $2.8M in late March and experiencing a peak of about $2.6M in early April. The lowest revenue point was around $940K in June. Weekly downloads began at around 187K, gradually decreasing to about 96K by the end of June. Active users saw a decline from approximately 6.9M in late March to about 5.7M by the end of the quarter.

Mob Control by Voodoo experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at roughly $6K in late March and reaching about $29K by the end of June. Downloads also surged, from around 41K to approximately 94K. The app’s active user base grew significantly from about 91K in late March to around 173K by quarter's end.

GUNS UP! Mobile War Strategy by NHN Corp. had a varied revenue performance, starting at approximately $2K in late March and rising to about $40K by the end of June. Downloads also saw an increase from around 3K to approximately 15K. Active users grew from about 2K in late March to around 34K by the end of the quarter.
